Sometimes the smallest upgrades make the biggest visual difference. A clean edge between your lawn and your landscape beds is one of those things - when it's missing, the whole yard can look a little rough around the edges. When it's done right, everything just clicks.
That's exactly what we tackled here. We installed new edging around both mulch and rock beds to give the landscaping a defined, finished border. Up front near the porch, the mulch beds got a smooth, curved edge that follows the natural flow of the planting area. Out back around the above-ground pool, we ran edging along the full perimeter of the rock bed to keep the gravel contained and the lawn line sharp.
Here's why this matters - without edging, mulch creeps into the grass, rock migrates out of the bed, and the whole thing turns into a maintenance headache. Good edging keeps everything where it belongs, which means less time on your hands and knees fixing things every few weeks.
It also just looks better. A defined border makes the plants stand out, the beds look intentional, and the overall property feel more put-together. Whether it's a front entry or a backyard feature like a pool area, clean edging pulls the whole landscape together without a major overhaul.
This is one of our favorite services to do because the results are immediate and obvious. You don't need a full landscape redesign to make a noticeable difference - sometimes a clean line is all it takes.
